THE ETHERNET TCP/IP FIELDBUS COUPLER SUPPORTS A NUMBER OF NETWORK PROTOCOLS TO SEND PROCESS DATA VIA ETHERNET TCP/IP. TROUBLE-FREE CONNECTION TO LOCAL AND GLOBAL (LAN, INTERNET) NETWORKS IS PERFORMED BY OBSERVING THE RELEVANT IT STANDARDS.

BY USING ETHERNET AS A FIELDBUS, A UNIFORM DATA TRANSMISSION IS ESTABLISHED BETWEEN FACTORY AND OFFICE. MOREOVER, THE ETHERNET TCP/IP FIELDBUS COUPLER OFFERS REMOTE MAINTENANCE, I.E. PROCESSES CAN BE CONTROLLED REGARDLESS OF THE LOCATION.

PROCESS DATA EXCHANGE IS PERFORMED VIA MODBUS/TCP PROTOCOL. THE FIELDBUS COUPLER DETECTS ALL CONNECTED I/O MODULES AND AUTOMATICALLY CREATES A LOCAL PROCESS IMAGE.

THE HTML PAGES THAT ARE STORED IN THE FIELDBUS COUPLER ALLOW ACCESS TO INFORMATION ON CONFIGURATION, STATUS, OR I/O DATA OF THE ETHERNET TCP/IP FIELDBUS COUPLER. ONLY A STANDARD WEB BROWSER IS REQUIRED.DYNAMIC CONFIGURATION OF THE IP ADDRESSES VIA A BOOTP SERVER PROVIDES A FLEXIBLE AND EASY WAY TO CONFIGURE THE NETWORK.


THE WAGO I/O SYSTEM 750 CAN ALSO BE USED IN MARINE APPLICATIONS AND ONSHORE/OFFSHORE INSTALLATIONS (E.G., PLATFORMS, LOADING FACILITIES). THIS IS POSSIBLE VIA CERTIFICATION UNDER THE STANDARDS OF LEADING AGENCIES SUCH AS GERMANISCHER LLOYD AND LLOYD'S REGISTER. THIS FILTER MODULE ENSURES PROPER (CERTIFIED) SYSTEM OPERATION. THE MODULE FILTERS THE 24 V SYSTEM POWER SUPPLY AND IS EQUIPPED WITH SURGE SUPPRESSION. HIGH-INSULATION VERSIONS ARE STREAMLINED FOR USE IN SYSTEMS WITH INSULATION MONITORING.


THIS SUPPLY MODULE PROVIDES THE I/O MODULES WITH THE CORRESPONDING SUPPLY POTENTIAL.

THE MAXIMUM CURRENT PROVIDED BY THE SUPPLY MODULE IS 6.3 A. WHEN CONFIGURING THE SYSTEM, THE TOTAL CURRENT MUST NOT BE EXCEEDED. SHOULD HIGHER CURRENTS BE NECESSARY, AN INTERMEDIATE SUPPLY MODULE MUST BE ADDED TO THE ASSEMBLY.THIS MODULE IS FUSE-PROTECTED (5 X 20 MM). THE FUSE CAN BE CHANGED QUICKLY, WITH EASE, FROM THE RETRACTABLE FUSE CARRIER.A BLOWN FUSE AND THE STATUS OF THE SUPPLY VOLTAGE ARE INDICATED VIA LEDS.THE I/O MODULE SENDS INFORMATION ABOUT THE STATUS OF THE SUPPLY MODULE TO THE FIELDBUS COUPLER THROUGH TWO INPUT BITS. ONE BIT IS FOR THE STATUS OF THE FUSE. THE OTHER BIT IS FOR THE STATUS OF THE SUPPLY VOLTAGE


THIS ANALOG INPUT MODULE PROCESSES STANDARD 4–20 MA SIGNALS.

THE INPUT SIGNAL IS ELECTRICALLY ISOLATED AND IS TRANSMITTED WITH A RESOLUTION OF 12 BITS.THE 24 V FIELD SUPPLY IS DERIVED FROM THE MODULE'S POWER JUMPER CONTACTS.THE SHIELD DIRECTLY CONNECTS TO THE DIN-RAIL.THIS MODULE SUPPLIES THE SHORT CIRCUIT-PROOF VOLTAGE FOR 2-WIRE SIGNAL CONDITIONERS.A SHORT CIRCUIT TO POWER IS INDICATED AS AN ERROR/FIELDBUS FAILURE AND A MESSAGE IS SENT TO THE SUPERVISORY CONTROL.


THIS INTERNAL SYSTEM SUPPLY MODULE INCREASES THE CAPACITY OF THE SYSTEM SUPPLY BY 2 A FOR FIELDBUS NODES WITH HIGH CURRENT REQUIREMENTS (SUM OF THE INTERNAL CURRENT CONSUMPTION OF THE I/O MODULES).IF REQUIRED, ADDITIONAL SYSTEM SUPPLY MODULES WITH BUS POWER SUPPLY CAN BE USED.
