Description The Watch Cabin Unit LCD Version (WCU/LCD), is a unit required to run an unmanned engine room. Its main functions are to indicate engine room alarms in the engineer on duty`s cabin and in the public quarters while in bridge control

For alarm presentation, the WCU/ LCD is equipped with a Liquid Crystal Display in addition to 4 group-alarm lamps. Each WCU/LCD is capable of displaying 4 lines by 40 characters.

• Indicating and accepting the transfer of machine watch responsibility to/from the bridge
